I've heard some argue the Mayans were more advanced than us, only they didn't focus on technology as we have and we are simply comparing their civilization to ours based on our own mindset. Then why haven't we adopted it? Why does no civilzation since the mayans use that calendar? The Mayan had a unique way of measuring time that was no better or worse than the way we do, it was just different.
We have just finished the second-warmest global temperature on record for March. There are fluctuations and anomalies in any curve, but the trend is clear.

Wow, Red. 128 year curve and the planet is, what, 4.5 billion years old? Don't blink - you'll miss your data set... Any idea where those measurements were made back in 1880? How about in 1980?
