you believe there are a number of coaches that could lose only 6 games in the SEC in 3 years?? who are they, and why aren't they doing so?
Because Les Miles is the coach at LSU and they aren't... You just need to look at Les Miles record before LSU to see that you don't need an 'elite' coach per se, but just someone that can manage and prepare the team and also the clock. There's a lot of pressure to coach at LSU, but you're working with a stacked hand.
So stacked Miles gets lost in the history of LSU coaches. So stacked Lane Kiffin need just wear the USC gear and win. Winning is not just a given.
I've seen the record, and what your posting isn't true. First time LSU beat a #1 ranked team was 1997.
Kiffin was dealing with a team that was falling apart and hit with sanctions, not quite the same. Plus he's a D-bag. I give credit to Miles as to maintaining the success of LSU at a high level, but that doesn't mean there aren't other coaches that can do the same thing or even better.
Newbie, all you do is create inflammatory posts. Are you stupid enough to imagine that we can get a coach who never loses? Why don't you go back to Alabama and worship Nick. Oh wait! He loses some games too.
In your estimation and based on RECENT results, do you think he is getting better or worse???? He is the head coach of the team that played the absolute most embarassing National Championship game in the BCS era. Ok, we will give him a mulligan, IF, he does something about the PROBLEMS in that game...........for most of the season it is obvious he did little to nothing.............a trend is now a persistent problem..........the offense. The junior class is bolting for the NFL, there had better be a plan for 2013 and it better not look like the one they tried in 2012 because if they do, this time next year these threads will look ALOT different.
Most all the good teams in the SEC are bringing in good recruits...............now on to the coaching part!!!!
