    What a dumb spectacle. We could very easily have a "only in soccer" thread to go along with the Florida one. No one of any importance gives 2 shits about soccer.

    tickets are artificially underpriced for sporting events and concerts in general. which is why they often sell out very quickly. there is no real balance of supply and demand so they can easily set prices higher for both if they choose and feel little effect.

    If I ran a team I would put all tickets on eBay or similar auction site and let the prices be determined by the market. That way they would get the profits taken by scalpers.

    right, by being underpriced it allows scalpers and stubhub or whatever to make billions of it i assume.
