I like Colin Cowherd. He says what he thinks and doesn't give a damn if you disagree. Frankly, The SEC is average right now, as are most conferences, relatively speaking. The PAC 10 is as good as anyone right now with USC, ASU, Cal, UCLA and one of the Oregons capable of beating any team from any conference. If I was unbiased and saw all 4 of LSU's games this year, I wouldn't be overly impressed.
I agree. I was a little snarled when he kept repeating that LSU was overrated this morning, but I didn't let it get to me. I just made plans to call him on it should we run the table. I enjoy his show. It never really gets stale. Yep. Definitely a down year for the SEC and an up year for the PAC-10. Coincidentally, it's also a down year for the Big 12 and Big 11. Decent year for the ACC. PAC-10 seems to be the only major conference having a real 'up year.' I have a lot more respect for West Coast football now than I did in 2003.
Colin Cowherd. Sports radio talkshow host from Portland that has a morning show on 1210am/ESPN Radio from 9-11 ('The Herd'). It actually goes from 8am-12pm, but the first hour is West Coast only, and scrappy's show comes on at 11am in BTR.
Colin Cowherd is from Oregon and is a PAC 10 apologist. I dislike him because he doesn' argue objectively. He may not care if someone disagrees with him, but the annoyance is he doesn't even attempt to see another point of view even when the obvious truth is staring him in the face. Many callers on his show have given great rebuttals to his biased opinions and his reaction is basically a 'your're an idiot' and then hangs up on the guy. He has already put his foot in his mouth several times this year. First, hyping the Big Ten and now bashing the Big Ten. Each week he's having to contradict something he said a week prior. Too wishy-washy. I can't stand him.
Shooooo don't ever listen to Walton & Johnson. John Walton is the undisputed king of that kind of behavior. It annoys me to no freaking end. If you're not calling to agree with him, he talks over you, calls you stupid, and hangs up on you.
Well, thats the beauty of being a big timer..once your at the highest level, you run the show. Your the man. If you want to talk over people you can. You've got so many listeners that it doesnt matter if you piss off a few. Now, on local radio, you have to basically be a sheep b/c the callers make or break you.
