Cox Communication "Geaux Box" Question?

Does anyone have any information on the Geaux Box that LSU students can get? I heard its like $25 a month. I can't find info on what basic cable and the geaux box would cost for a full time LSU student? Anyone paying this bill PLEASE RESPOND!!! Thanks

 

I had it for a year. It's basically just a discount on Cox cable internet service.

It's $25 per month, plus the cost of a cable modem. You can buy one or rent one from Cox for $10 per month.

It's decent service. I never had a problem with it.

 

Thanks but I'm trying to find out the price of having the Geaux Box and BASIC CABLE. Does anyone know how much extra basic cable is when you have the Geaux Box?

 

I want to say basic cable will cost about the same as the internet service, so around $50 total.

I had Geaux Box and basic extended and that cost me between $60 and $65.

 

What does Geaux Box do?

 

thats abou 70 bucks if you want extemded basic

 

I have both -- costing me $72 a month.
