We went at the old Coast Guard Station last weekend. Emma caught about 3 dozen in a couple hours.
You do so much better without that lil shyt from Pierre Part.
lol. It's easy pickens right now. I decided tonight I will get as many as I can between now and early May. I am cooking gumbo at the Cajun Fest in Wichita Falls for May 14. Last year I cooked 35 gal. of gumbo, so I don't think I can catch too many.
Where is Coast Guard Station. I was thinking of bringing my girls. or any place near Laplace
Go to Madisonville and head south on 1077 to the end of the road. There is a large, covered public pier there. That's where we slaughter em.

You can zoom in on this map and see the pier. It is just south of T-Rivers Bar.
Thanks Kyle, I will report back
When are y'all going? We will probably be there Sat. afternoon.
hey Kyle, we are heading that way late morning and will be there most of the day. I hope you can make it. I bought six nets and some chicken necks. My girls have never seen a live crab lol
Our plans got changed so we are going today. How did y'all do?
Caught about 10 small ones, the wind was blowing about 15 to 20. Madisonville is a beautiful town.
