Being circulated on twitter that the fight had nothing to do with the game, according to police chief.

It's sad that it reached the point that it did. Unfortunately, it's more proof that alcohol and rival sports fans shouldn't be in that setting.
I'm not convinced. It was a bar....the game was on...clearly all parties there were watching the game. Perhaps they found a reason to pick a fight but that doesn't mean there wasn't some rivalry motivation. If Bowers was wearing Bama gear or had been cheering for them....I'ma guess the two murderers here took note.
