    He was a Democrat until 1962. Of course I wasn't around to vote at that time but unless someone changes their core philosophy or values, then party affiliation or change mean nothing to me.

    Wait....what? Maybe I didn't express myself in the best way. I don't care about party affiliation and I don't care if someone switches. I will vote for a person regardless of party as long as they don't change their basic approach to life and such.

    There are several Blue Dogs I would vote for. If I lived in Georgia, David Scott is someone I would support.

    Ok that makes more sense, maybe i just misinterpreted.

    Change their basic approach to life. Please elaborate on that because I have never held it against people who change when more information comes out. Now a guy like Rand Paul, I probably would have voted for him and supported his candidacy had he not just completely ditched everything that made him likable to pander to the snake handlers in the GOP.

    Yes if someone like Nancy Pelosi started calling herself a Republican you'd vote for her.
