i'm just speechless at that. I can't believe any D-1 school is either that desperate or that stupid.

We need a proven QB coach. Maybe Billy G gets his shot down the line, but right now he still needs some seasoning IMO.

I guess Christmas came a little late this year. We've been wondering if Crowton was the problem with the offense. Next year, we'll know for sure.

Try not to trip over ourselves as to the gift given, but take the time to thank Maryland for their generosity. As to his replacement, just be happy there is one and that they will fit more of what Miles wants to do. We hopefully will see a dramatic improvement in QB play and downfield passing game. I still think the run game will be our bread and butter.

Guys regardless of the replacement, how can it be ANY Worse.
What the new person gets us up for dead last in TD passes to middle of the pack.
When you have no place to go but up, celebrate.

We will never be some high flying offense like we were in the Rohan Reed days. Our coach has a different style.
We will ALWAYS be a run first team. I think.
But as we saw in the A&M game, if we can run it opens up the passing game.

LSU will do great things if they can impose their will on the Line of Scrimmage, sustain long drives and wear the defense out, at times throw over the top to open up under coverage, and let the WR's make plays.

Thats all we can ask for. I dont expect LSU to put up 50 pts a game.

But if I never see a Zone Read or option to the short side again I will be happy regardless.

:geaux: It wouldn't hurt my feelings if Stud joined The Crow in successfully finding "another opportunity". :LSU231:
