I'm so old, I saw them when they were the Colt .45s.

 

I did too. Was a kid. Saw them in some stadium before the Astrodome was built.

 

Stros Cubs series would be sweeeeeeet

 

I had to use Google. It was Colt Stadium. What I had forgotten was that it was located very near where the Astrodome was built.

 

I don't know how I remember this but the game I went to the Colt 45's were leading the Cubs by 1 run in the top of the 9th. With 1 out the Cubs had the tying run on 3rd and Ernie Banks at the plate. Banks hit a drive to deep left field and it was caught at the wall by a left fielder named Brock Davis. The run tagged and looked sure to score but Davis threw a perfect strike to the catcher and the game was over.

 

Your memory's a hell of a lot better than mine. lol

 

Everybody knows who Ernie Banks was but knowing who Brock Davis was proves I don't have Alzheimer's

Other better known Brocks for $500 CO.

Who were Dieter Brock and Brock Lesner,? No googling

 

I have trouble remembering what I did this morning. The only Brock I remember is Lou.

 

Dieter Brock was QB for the Rams for a couple of seasons. Brock Lesner may still be wrestling in the WWE
