so ESPN the pussy fucks, fired Curt Schilling because he tweeted a picture of Hitler that said "5 percent of Muslims are extremists, 7 percent of Germans were Nazi's, how'd that go?" Good for Schilling.
I will say again. We all have freedom of speech. We do not, however, have freedom from the consequences of that speech. Schilling works for and represents ESPN in a very public way. He should have thought that through a little more before hitting "tweet." What he said isn't really that offensive to me so I could care less, but evidently ESPN didn't feel the same way.

Here's my problem with it, people need to speak out on Muslim extremists especially since Muslims themselves won't speak out against them. I take zero issue with what he had to say, and I wonder if he had said something about Christians would he have been fired.
See and I don't agree with Christians being intolerant to homosexuals, but I bet had he said something negative about Christians he would still have a job.
