As far as I know, the only state school that rivals us in military service is Texas A&M (being that I read that they are the only non-Academy that has turned out more US Military Officers than we have). I wish we would have kept the strong ROTC and Corps of Cadet tradition we had like A&M and VT do today. I read recently about how Huey Long was the one that got rid of our ROTC band in favor of a "show band" like we have today. And considering all the good things I've read that Huey did for LSU, I'm not too worried about it.

Cutcliffe turns down Tenn ESPN is reporting that Cutcliffe has withdrawn his name from consideration as the Tenn head coaching search. Supposedly the next name on the list is Louisiana Tech's Derek Dooley.
