Cry?...me?...no! I believe in my Tigers and know they're the best team in the country. Everybody is due for a bad day (LSU) and everybody gets lucky (Texas). It's ours to lose...or yours to be given to you. That's how it's going to work.
I hope this ump and the one from last night won't be behind the plate if we have to play tomorrow. This strike zone changes each inning. Two of those would've been a strike for the UT pitcher. :dis:
Could not disagree more...One game does not make a series. How could you say that a team that has won 14 straight in the best baseball conference in the nation and at the CWS look like they don't belong there? Don't be fair weather.
Oh I got it, so by your assumption if ESPN says it IT MUST be true. Forget the experts who gave UT the #1 seed. ESPN said it, so the guys that actually follow this, stats and NCAA are idiots. ESPN is the all knowing. Oh O.K. I got it. Clears it up.I didnt know ESPN was so omnipotent. Dude we wrote ESPN off a long time ago as morons. You dont get it because they are usually on the jock of OU and UT in football. But trust on this one. ESPN is and always has been morons. But I will trust the people that actually research, use stats and records to determine things. Fact is UT is expected to win the CWS. Hence the #1 ranking. LSU is the underdog and sadly playing like it tonight. As for LSU looking they dont belong here is just silly. UT is a great baseball team (Again See #1 seed) and has very strong and deep pitching. LSU is off tonight and UT is playing like they have nothing to lose. LSU is just being beat by a very good team. LSU belongs here, as does UT. These teams are titans of college baseball. What did we expect ULM ? there is a reason this team is the #1 seed and has 6 national titles. LSU is a great team win or lose tonight or tomorrow. Geaux F'ing tigers
Texas 7th: - Walked. (Bradshaw warming up again) - Walked on four pitches. (Pitching change. Daniel Bradshaw in.) - Hit into 6-3 double play. Runner to 3rd. - Grounded out to 3rd. Texas 5, LSU 1 - Bottom of the 7th. Let's get some runs, here! :geaux:
I'm impressed with the few fans they have there though (with the exception of the goofy finger thing) as they're actually dressed for a baseball game. I went to the Cotton Bowl (worst stadium ever) and the UT fans were wearing furs, colored Wrangler jeans (dress slacks for Texans), 10-gallon hats, turkey platter belt buckles, cowboy boots in many colors, and excessive amounts of gaudy jewelry. They were a trip! Suprisingly enough, we had half the stadium filled with Tiger fans there. Except for the stadium, I had a good time.
