Young kids aren't thinking money. They might have read too many press clippings after yesterdays game but more than likely it's just great pitching against poor hitting. Maybe the pitching and hitting will be better tomorrow.
We definitely won this CWS when it comes to fans. I'm sure Omaha wants us there every year. No better fans in college baseball. Over 400,000 in attendance at Alex Box this year! Nobody else even close!
Amen to that. I got couple of co-workers (NC State and East Carolina fans) and they are rooting for Tigers. One even said, "I hope LSU finishes it up tonight as I am going on a vacation on Wednesday and will miss if there is a game 3"
That's it! LSU wanted to go with several pitchers and hoped the offense would score more than the pitchers gave up. Both failed. We go with a much better pitcher tomorrow. I don't know who Texas has up tomorrow but the pitching will make the difference. Even so, if you don't blow the lead-off triple and Dean doesn't screw up, this is a two-run game. As bad as w've played, that's pretty amazing. As bad as we've played, Texas only has five runs. A typical Rinaudo performance coupled with normal hitting and fielding, should lead LSU to the title.
Texas 9th: - Singled to RF. - Hit into a 3-6-3 double play. - Hit by pitch - Tapped to Bradshaw. Texas 5, LSU 1 - Bottom 9th
Texas has plenty pitching left, especially after tonight. Tigers will need to pitch hit and field better tomorrow to bring home the title.
Come on Tigers! Take a stand against the Nazi Republic of Texas! Don't let the Evil Empire even win a single game against us! All that is good is on the line here tonight! And all that are good are cheering for LSU!
