He's the same guy who has called us for strikes on check swings yet called several balls for Texas.

Mahtook struck out swinging.
Mitchell tapper to 3B. Called out at first. (Replay confirms he was out.) Gibbs to 2nd.
Landry at bat. Balk called. Gibbs to 3rd. Landry struck out swinging.

Ranaudo needs to pitch the kind of game Jungmann pitched today. He just handcuffed LSU all night.

 

OK - Let's hope "saving it for tomorrow" works out better than Coleman last night.

At least I have something to look forward to watching tomorrow.

He was out at first. Tigers need to get up early and take BP. If you want to win a championship you have to be able to hit good pitching and the Tigers didn't do it tonight.

 

Oh well. With poor hitting how can you expect to win?

Game 3 tomorrow.... LSU was just plain beat and made too many mistakes and in this series LSU continues to leave to many batters on bases. Definitely a mistake in the strategy of saving a pitcher instead of ending it in Game 2 just like a bad mistake to leave Coleman in the game too long.

 

Noooooo!!!!! LSU fails to hold back the Nazi Republic of Texas. It is the same as if had the Nazi Reich of Hitler's Germany been able to beat back the D-Day invasion. Nooooo!!!! All of America is demoralized!!!! All people of good will on this planet are demoralized!!!!! Nooooooo!!!!!

But fear not! The good souls of LSU will SMASH the evil forces of UT tomorrow night!!!
