   yep, other than byrd, the bp was the bright spot of the evening. cain stopped the bleeding or it could have been much worse. it just wasnt a night where we could get runs to back him up.

   Which is my why Maineri went right out and signed some top pitchers after he was hired. Poor Smoke just never recruited the pitching we needed. If Maineri can sign and keep quality pitchers like Garrido has always done, LSU will do just fine for a long time.
