we were on the bubble at best because of not making the conf tourney and being below .500 in sec play. i understand why we were left out more than i understand ucla being a number one seed with their record and rpi.
I didn't think St. John's would make it after losing to Seton Hall, but it seems that was the last one in. We had our chances to keep it from being that close in the first place, so we were our worst enemy...
30 of those spots are automatic qualifiers with conference champs. our finishing 9th in the conf, not making the tourney, and our wins coming against the bottom of the conf were too much to make up for those 34 spots. i understand that. i dont understand baylor making it. and i dont understand ucla being a number one seed. but i do understand why we were left out.
