Arizona (#5) with 26 losses seeded higher than LSU (#6). Arkansas, co-champs of the powerful SEC seeded #8. What group of geniuses came up with this? The CWS seedings are as follows: #1 Texas, #2 S. Carolina, #3 Miami, #4 Georgia, #5 Arizona, #6 LSU, #7 Fullerton, #8 Arkansas.

Nope, you're wrong. The CWS was seeded once, way back when they handed out the top 8 national seeds. Its one big bracket of 64 teams, they do not reseed for the CWS otherwise, obviously Arizona would be #8, ect...

    My bad

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear that the insanity I suspected doesn't exist.

Well it's still insane. They need to reseed after they find out which 8 teams make it.

Texas has the easy part of the draw obviously with the 3 weakest teams in Arkansas, Arizona and Georgia. They will more than likely go straight to the top of the winner's bracket. Texas, as awesome as they are this year, doesn't need the extra help.
