Agree....I would love to see the saints play (again) in New Orleans.....I was telling my neighbor last night how bad i wanted to be there for the game
I don't buy the whole cold weather Chicago advantage. The Saints have Deuce who can pound the ball between the tackles, classic cold weather style football. Drew Brees played QB at Purdue, so cold weather shouldn't be an issue there. The key if they play the Bears is shutting down the Bears offense because the Saints offense will score on the Bears D.
It's not like all of the Bears players are Chicago natives. Silly argument for home field advantage indeed.
I think it does have an effect. Why is Tampa Bay's record in the cold so bad? Coincidence? Are all there players from South Florida? No, some may be from Chicago or upstate New York or Colorado. It definitely has an effect, IMO...It has to do with you practice in all year.
I'm disappointed that NOLA will miss out on a big shot in the arm but still glad the Saints are in the Champioship game. If they play D like they did last night, Rex will give us a good chance and I believe we'll win.
