I live (Well will in about 2 weeks) Lantana (Flower Mound) Bens Half Yard house is the best. Almost all LSU fans. I prefer to gather some of my LSU friends. My new house I have a media room, My wife and I are painting it purple and gold and hanging a projector in there. But of course I am sure no one cares ;-)
A purple and gold media room would be sweet. My husband and I are looking at older homes currently (in Plano), and media rooms aren't part of that package--though there are some that have converted fifth bedrooms, etc. But we'd love to have some actual trees in the yard.
Check out Lantana, its awesome... We just bought there. www.lantanatx.com I moved into Heritage, Highland homes. Its kind of far out (Northwest of Flowermound) but its not bad. Heck I remember when Carrollton was out in the boondocks. We looked in Frisco as well. But I like the community of Lantana. Got some nice homes in Frisco as well. We are moving back after 18 months back in Louisiana
If you're moving in 18 months, let me know. My husband is a realtor, and we'd love to list your house! I've been out to Lantana, but I teach in Plano, and we really want to stay in Plano ISD for the schools. We pretty much know we're staying in North Texas for the duration, especially since my husband's real estate business is starting to take off. Anyway, the Plano schools don't have to endure the growing pains that many of the districts like Frisco are going through right now since the city is nearing build-out with only existing home sales. Lantana is nice, though. We know several people (old Coppell IBM colleagues of my husband's) who live out there.
Yeah, I have an older house in the Lakewood area. Not a lot of "media rooms" back when it was built. My den does the trick. I had to make some sacrifices over a brand new home but I love the area. We have trees
You are correct Stacey-O we did watch the LSU/Aub game YEARS ago.... I took a look at the LSU Alumni website and the Fox and Hound is listed as a place to watch LSU games for people that live in North Dallas. I have never gone to the Fox and Hound to watch an LSU game, but tht is alot closer than driving down to Greenville...May have to give it a shot. http://www.lsudfwalumni.com/ :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
Years ago is right. If I recall, you were married at the time, but without kiddos, and I wasn't even married yet. Now we have four kids between us!
Am I reading correctly between the lines here- tell the truth. It was a memorable fling. I'm no longer available. I'd still like to visit with you. I'm not necessarily happy but am riding it out for the sake of financial security. It don't get no better than this!:thumb:
You're reading WAY too much between the lines. ;-) G-LSU and his wife worked with my husband @ IBM years ago. See, it's really more innocent than it sounded...
