For crying out loud TE, cool your jets. I said I loved the article. But Favre, et. al. are asked to carry their teams by doing what? By operating the offense? By getting into positive personnel situations based on the defensive reads? By getting the ball to the playmakers, wherever they might be on the field? Exactly! What else do QBs do to "carry their team"? Play defense? Return kickoffs? Actually, I didn't even realize you had written the article so my "criticism" wasn't even directed at you.
