The only thing this post has accomplished, IMO, is to remind me that I've enjoyed Mr. Long's work for years and have never contributed a dime to helping him stay around.

    I will remedy that.

As someone who lives in California i can tell you it is nice to have Dandy there to keep in touch with LSU news.

He is just someone that loves football and especially LSU football.

I think for the most part Dandy Don is a stable voice of reason in a fan base that sometimes is on the verge of meltdown.

I thank him for his integrity and his opinions on LSU are worth listening too in my book.

He has put it on the line as a referee and has put it on the line to help young people.

I for one will continue to read his site every single day and contribute when i can.

Actually, had the guy did a BIT of research, LSU has a healthy advantage in Running Backs, Offensive Line. BAMA edges you out on QB's and Recievers.. despite the fact that we lost our maps to the endzone, we sling the ball all over the place inside the 20's and we even catch it sometimes to.

Then why does Jarmarcus have a higher completion percentage than Brody and score more points? Russell runs an offense higher ranked in passing efficiency, passing offense, scoring offense, and total offense.

Bama does have two highly ranked receivers but they are the only receivers to see the ball much. Bama has 2 receivers ranked in the SEC top 50 -- LSU has 6. LSU receivers make more passing yards per game than Bama.

Well, LSU has dropped a few to be sure. Of course, we dropped them in the END ZONE.
