Believe me I wouldn't doubt Skip has "spoken" to his top choices. Maybe not directly but he knows who is interested and has taken steps to make it a quick process should Saban leave. (He's not). It would be foolish for Skip to wait until Saban has taken another job before he begins his search. Riley may very well be a "done deal"...if that situation arises where LSU is in the market for a coach...
if we lived in a perfect world I myself would like to see LSU have a great coach and stability, not just the former. unfortunately we dont live in a perfect world...the days of a coach like bowden staying 20 years are rare
The only guarantee is that forum pundits/posters are going to continue to analyze every possible scenario based on every crumb of information that is posted on the Internet (even though 90% is inaccurate). That's fine. I love reading DandyDon.com as well, but that guy's information pans out as often as most of the national cable pontificators. It is very entertaining though...although I'd rather just have Saban stay at LSU and I then the only thing I would have to worry about (sportswise) is whether or not the Astros are going to get Carlos Beltran. STAY SABAN...STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sob:
He's agreed in principle to the contract, with one stipulation: he wants the Astros to remove the hill in centerfield. I kid you not.
Don't toy with me BMoney!!!! Are you serious? I am not going to ask the source, but feel free to share if you can. Any timeframe? I am guessing the Jan 6th deadline is the driving force as far as that goes. I don't want to change the subject to the Stros on this board, but that would be some great news for Astros' fans. GEAUX TIGERS!!!! :geaux: & Astros! :thumb:
