In other LSU football news of interest, I have been asked probably 100 times in the last month if I expect any LSU players to transfer after this season is over. I do not expect any players to transfer and I am hearing just the opposite. I have been told that the players in question, including Russell Shepard, Rueben Randle and Sam Montgomery to name a few, are very happy at LSU and are doing a super job in hosting prospects on recruiting trips. How can they be happy at LSU! Why not transfer to go play for Saint Nick! Just hard for many here to understand I am sure. In fact I am sure they are excited about playing Penn State and to be going to the Cap One bowl. I am sure they are even thinking about winning the SEC in 2010! Hard to believe!!! cliff:miles:
It's good to see the recruits from last year remain positive, despite the increased negativity by media and fans. I think they are looking forward to next year, instead of dwelling on their choice to come here. Besides, they chose LSU, despite being highly sought after by other schools in the same league as us.

We win this bowl game and LSU will finish ranked in the Top Ten with a 10-win season, which LSU has averaged for 10 years now. Anybody who ain't happy with that, player or fan, is a damn fool. The players aren't fools, at least.
Truer words were never spoken. LSU fans are making me ill, but they used to do that during the Charlie Mac era, too.
