Darkhorse pick

    I would truly love to be a #3 seed in Gonzaga's region (assumes they are a #2). The Bulldogs are playing their worst ball at the worst time of the year.

    If so, we could be looking an Elite Eight run square in the eye...if not more.

    That's nice of him and all, but am I the only one who thinks it odd that the coach of a projected #2 seed is labelling a projected #3 seed as a "darkhorse" national title contender?

    Since when was a #2 "a contender" and a #3 "a darkhorse"?

    And why is it always a darkhorse? Can't a lighthorse win it? Why don't we give lame ducks a chance?

    let the record show, he asked of the teams you have played who would be a darkhouse. SO TECHINICALLY WE ARE A DARKHORSE AMONGST THE TEAMS OHIO ST PLAYED.

    Considering the 1's are the projected Final 4 then everything after could be a darkhorse. You are confusing that term with Cinderella-once you make the Final Four as a 6 seed or more.
