Data plans are a rip off

    I had unlimited data through Boost... only problem was that I couldn't get a decent signal, so I used no data anyway. I pay out the ass for Verizon know, but I actually use it (or more to the point, the wife uses it because she doesn't know how/when to use wifi properly).

    Boost and Virgin Mobile are subsidiaries of Sprint and use the Sprint network. When I was with Sprint I had unlimited data but it was still slow in a lot of places and there were rural areas where I couldn't even make a phone call until I got close to a town. But it did work once when I was 50 miles offshore on a boat. I guess they have cell towers on the nearby oil rigs.

    sprint and tmobile suck on coverage in rural LA areas. hence they are cheaper. but tmobiles customer service is the best. unfortunately their service blows so its irrelevant.

    T Mobile customer service is like flipping a coin. Sometimes you get an American and sometimes you get a Filapeno.
