Just means there's less light in a day for the things I enjoy like bass fishing and running.

cant fathom why anyone would want it get to dark earlier on the clock than it has to. the days are gonna get shorter on their own no reason to hurry it along. agricultural society nowadays or not still dont see why we can't just leave it sprung forward so can always have more time after work to do whatever in daylight.

    So do I.

Agree. We need to split the difference, go 30 minutes, and leave it the fuck alone.

Agriculture is a bs reason, farmers work with the sun they don't give a damn what time it is.

Way I understood it is it wasn't for the farmers it was for their kids to have daylight after school to help out plus something about it being a benefit to war efforts on the Homefront but I don't know I've never looked into it beyond what I've "heard." Regardless we are no longer an agricultural society for the most part so it's moot now.
