Good game by DP tonight...he was HUGE in this win! Still not convinced he's tough, but he has the tools to be great, and looks like Lee is looking to him a lot.
he was blocking 20 yards down the sideline for Ford I'll take that. Lee missed him for what would have been a big gain on a great play call. They need to connect on that quick hitch over the middle because it will be open all year long with defenses trying to stop the run.
I like that Lee was looking for the tightends. That gives LSU another option that was missing for the past few years.
He looked like a man amongst boys out there today! He had some great downfield blocking and some solid catches. If he can stay healthy, man the sky is the limit with this kid!
Don't say I didn't warn you about DP. Might even be used more with Lee at the Helm. He looked the most comfortable targeting him. Steppin into his throws and no tippy toes like we saw many times tonight.
In response to one of the threads started by a Ducks fan, I predicted DP would be a difference maker in the game. For once, I get to give myself some props on that.
