    Printing money. YES. We loaned what $16T in 3 years. I'm sure they just have this cash sitting around backed by something of worth?

    A child's view is spending money you don't have. The American people are not the Govt's piggy bank. You own your money not the Govt.

    I think you may want to go back and do a contrast and compare between Obama and Reagan. You may be surprised at what you find.

    I personally would like to let the debate start in the states. Phase in a bba over time or something. Let it be completely bipartisan. It's the best way for government not to overspend. Bush added prescription drug benifits to Medicare without paying for it. Democrats have done the same sort of non paid for spending. A bba would force government to not add to the debt. What's wrong with a bba?

    If I am wrong about thinking a balanced budget amendment is the right thing to do , it's an honest mistake. It's not partisan. If a bba is a bad idea then please educate me on why.

    It sounds good but do you actually think the spending is going to stop, regardless of who is in office?
