9 teams have in the top 25 at some point. Mississippi State has now garnered votes and are a win or 2 away from cracking the top 25 as well.

That leaves only Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. Ole Miss almost beat Florida.

    What a year.

Yeah, I really can't wait until Bowl season when the SEC will flex it's muscles.

I agree and next year will be only better.

Almost every team returns the majority of their players. The only team I can see getting worse are Kentucky and Arkansas.

Just another year in the SEC! Once again, they said we would be down and the Pac-1, Big 10, ACC, or Big 12 would be the best...BUT...like usual, the SEC is once again at the top!

It's not arrogance...just fact. We wouldn't even need to discuss it if the media didn't always try to knock us down.

CAN WE ADD A "SEC" TO THE SMILIES LIST?

Weird year in the SEC. I think there aren't as many VERY good teams in the SEC as usual, but there are even more PRETTY good teams. Kentucky, SC, Vandy, and MSU all have their best teams in a while. Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Bama, and Auburn are slightly down from where they usually are. It makes for a lot of parity outside of the very top. You could see a situation where the SEC has 10 bowl-eligible teams. It's not likely, but it's still conceivable.
