We won because we were a better team (at leas that night). We took the best shot they had in 'em, and it was one hell of a blow, but we took it and won. The Gators are no slouches. Our Defense stepped up when it mattered most. My biggest question before last night was "What would this team do when the game was on the line and a play had to be made?" We didn't know because they had never been in that situation. Well, the Tigers answered that question for us. Everyone that needed to step up did. Flynn had a gutsy scramble on with no intentions of sliding safely at the end of it. Dickson made anice catch to move the chains. Hester put the team on his back and carried them. D-Line got pressure at the end. DB's were disciplined enough to bat the ball DOWN on the last Hail Mary attempt in stead of trying to catch it. All of this is why we won Saturday night. Enjoy being number 1 folks. It didn't come easy, and it doesn't get much easier from here on out.
Tebow got around a defender a few times as the player was coming full speed. Seems to me when you are rushing a mobile qb you would need to go at him under control once you are within a couple of steps of him instead of going all out and he just sidesteps you.
