And the viewing public is speaking volumes by turning off CNN, CBS, etc and turning on FOX News. See my topic about CNN's demise. The general public became sick of the Dan Ratherism's of the liberal media and has tuned out in record numbers.

For those that dont think FOX is more balanced than CNN just watch one channel for a few days and then watch the other for a few days. Most issues FOX covers "ALWAYS" has a liberal/democrat on the air to give the counter point. CNN rarely has the republican/conservative on hand to give the counter points. Fox is clearly more balanced in that regard even if they lean to the right overall. Its not even close and I've always been a hardcore CNN guy but as I stated in my "CNN Demise" topic that is changing fast. Its obviously changed for a lot of other people too considering the ratings for CNN.

The Democrats have always lacked self-confidence.

Bullchit. The media is rough on anyone in office and always has been. Lyndon Johnson was no media darling and neither was Jimmy Carter. They made a mockery out of Clinton's oval office hummer.

I'll repeat what i said earlier. Anyone, I mean anyone, who gets all of his news from one source is a fool. The alarming thing about FOX devotees is that they absolutely worship the friggin network and bllnd themselves to any other news.

Then I'd say your assessment of liberal media bias is invalid, based on a sample size of one. :hihi:

Ahem. Actually you are quite wrong on several counts. You should watch some unbiased news.

    1. Ted Turner hasn't been married to Jane Fonda for six years.

    2. Ted Turner doesn't own CNN, he sold it Time Warner 12 years ago.

See the first youtube video I posted. Basically Fox News reported that Obama attended a "Muslim" school as a kid. Fox heard this info from a source and didn't verify it. Upon further review by CNN, MSNBC, etc it was found the school was a PUBLIC school..This caused public outrage and 250,000 people signing a petition to protest FOX News from hosting the Nevada Dem debate. The Nevada Demos withdrew it from Fox after all this. That's what I'm getting from my limited research of the matter

I remember a few years ago red or Contained Chaos posted a link to a study that named Fox as the most errant news source. I searched for the study and the thread but could not find it. I think the same study said NPR was the most reliable.
