Keep. In college you can recruit players to fit your scheme. Given the situation he inherited I like the way he tweaked what he had to work until he gets more players to fit what he does – whatever that is.
I totally agree. Think back to where the program was a year ago and where the offense is now and it's like night and day! It wasn't perfect, but that would have been the case regardless of who was running the offense. He inherited an offense that had a transfer QB, two true freshmen starting tackles to go along with two other transfers, basically an entirely new group of RBs and a talent WR who should have been a leader on the team, but instead chose to pout and throw temper tantrums on the sideline. It was far from perfect, but considering all the obstacles he faced and overcame, I would say he did a pretty good job overall.
Good point about "whatever that is." I am not sure I understand what his offensive philosophy is? It's not readily apparent.
We're mid-pack Offense in the SEC, #7. https://www.secsports.com/statistics/football/team/total Defense is #10 in SEC. https://www.secsports.com/statistics/football/team/defense/totalTackles
Seems like a lot of our big plays come from Daniel's not finding an open WR, and taking off running for 10-20 yards. Do we have a Offensive identity? Like others, I can't see one.
