Id rather come out the gates closer to #10 than #1....taking care of business with that schedule would put the preseason #25 team in the BCSCG. Besides, history shows the Tigers dont handle being ranked #1 well for very long.
Keep in mind this is just Dennis Dodd's ranking and he's not the sharpest tool in the shed as you would say. It's better starting off high that way if we lose we have less ground to make up. Had we not started 2007 ranked #2 idk if we would have made the NCG.
