Dmitch's ankle is not going to get much better until the season is over. He'll have to suck it up like he's been doing the last few weeks. TT is the real concern and his first practice yesterday didn't go well. I'm starting to think TT won't be available, or be very limited, this weekend. From The Advocate:
Here is what I have for LSU's road to the championship: Iona -> Syracuse -> Duke -> Texas -> Gonzaga -> North Carolina What a gauntlet!
And you did it without meeting one Big Ten team, you lucky dog, you!! Iowa is Soooooooooo under the radar... we luv it!!!:thumb:
It would be a good game... as we have a rule that we have to start each game getting down by ten, trail at the half, and never lead by more than five with three minutes left. ... Alford bb at it's best.... but Pace-maker sales in Iowa are booming.
Not for me, they're not. I have mad respect for the Hawkeyes. As for TT, that Advocate article didn't sound too positive save for one thing---X-rays still negative. He's just going to have to suck it up, though undoubtedly this will reduce his effectiveness. A nice writeup on "high ankle sprains". Suggests to me that TT's just going to have to play through some intense pain, but having him available for even 15-20 minutes a game beats nothing at all...
They may be able to give TT a shot to numb it before the game so he cannot feel the pain from running and jumping on it.
