lb's are young but very talented. we should be fast and very aggressive at that position.

Shepard should always be in the slot and always in motion... he should be at 3/4 speed when the ball is snapped. LB will not be as big of an issue because of the strength of the back 4 (or 5). Expect a lot of heavy nickel with a third safety.

Kind of a 4-2-5 setup. LSU seems to be very well set up for this alignment. Chavis tends to utilize a "hybrid" at LB ala Coleman last season, and there are some guys that seem to fit that mold.

    TheDude I'm calmer than you.

Looks to me like 3 redshirt or true freshmen are not only getting played, but are starting.

I thought there was a mountain of evidence that Miles doesn't play younger talented players?

Thats the most surprising thing I saw too.

Of course he basically said the Loston as a starter was a typo, but he is definitely gonna play a bunch.

At LB, he has no choice.

But still lots of young guys on the three deep.

On D, we have some young kids playing and the will screw it up at least once this season. Though, I hope their nerves are calm and they continue to progress throughout the year and mold into a top 10 D. Sets up real nice for 2011 if they can do it.

Well looks like Clement will be getting the start.

Heard Peterson has a simple fracture in his foot but only expected to miss 2 weeks. 2 weeks surprises me but it is possible.
