Alright, first practice impressions, J-Rus is much more mature and ready to take command of this club, he knows that Flynn is more than ready to move in if he screws up and even said so. Flynn is patient and confident, said he didn't want to transfer. JV really worked hard on rehab, he's thinner, had pink eye today, but said he was looking forward to camp, knows this is his last shot, he's excited about being #1. All the db's are giving Laron a hard time about being the most recognizable def. standout. He's the pretty boy and everytime someone puts a camera on him, you can hear them cat calling. I spent most of the time with the RB's and DB's. LB's look young, but Sanders is huge. Ali looks small, but that's the position. I didn't see any of the O-line, or D-line, sorry can't help. Talking to JV afterwards he said he likes them though because they are mean and dirty, with Will Arnold being by far the dirtiest, exactly what you want out of your O-line. QB's looked solid, missed some early throws but corrected. Talking to the guys, they just seemed a lot more mature. It looks like most of them took their summer pretty seriously, and are ready to get after it. Just seems like depth will be a factor, can't have any injuries. At the freshmen practice, don't really have to many impressions, as I don't know who to look at. They all looked young, small and lost. Trindon Holiday did look good, small but fast and had good hands, no problem tracking down the ball. Other than that, we'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Yea i was wrong on somethings I posted earlier about AB

here is some more stuff from sports2

He didn't cut and he said he was 85%. Not to beat a dead horse, but let's not put the cart before the dead horse. He's still got to face contact. I think the good news is the JV feels 100%, that at least means LSU will have an experienced back to start, and Hester no doubt is a serious addition, no matter where he lines up.

AB did talk about Glenn D. almost falling on him, said it was a little scary for him, but he got out of the way.

he was up and running with a brace on, not a metal brace like Sanders, just a regular flex neosprene deal. Didn't really get to see much of him, the freshmen practice was fast and interesting. Definetly tell these guys are rookies.

Side note: RJ Jackson was working out with the WR's.

Nice to see actual observations and not just mental "what if's". Thanks for the news, you local guys. You can bet first thing I did after getting home was check TigerForums! Good news so far hearing about AB and JV.

I like to hear JR looks more mature, I thought he would. It usually happens after your first year as the leader, get experience and then get maturity and get better mentally.
