No but the owners make moneyfrom them by charge regular season ticket prices so they seen going away. There has been talk about going to 18 real season games but that puts even more risk of injuries on the players and they would probably strike if they weren't paid more money for the extra games.
The tickets may be sold but the 2 games I watched so far you could take everybody from the middle and upper decks and still couldn't fill the lower section.
