Fact is if you judge the time both have been given at their highs, lows, and in between, Harris has looked better. Fact is he is the better, more complete passer. He is not scared to throw the ball. He is also the better runner. I would say that gives LSU the better change to win. Rather than AJ, who is scared to throw. Who has not shown accuracy. But he is Miles' guy and he understand the O better.
They have both sucked for the most part. At this point neither has shown what it takes to be an average SEC QB. Jennings has been given much more opportunities to suck and has risen to the challenge of sucking. Harris should be given the opportunity to prove he sucks as bad........or maybe he doesn't suck as bad, Miles really hasn't given him the chance.
http://blogs.theadvocate.com/tigertracks/les-miles-decision-qb-future-down-the-road/ Miles said Tuesday on his radio show that LSU is trying to get Harris on the field for some explosive plays, but not “encumbering” him with the full offense. When did we start using cucumbers? We're in quite a pickle here.
