1. We should be embarrassed at the effort we've put into the QB position over the years. It's like we recruit one and then just hope he works out instead of actually developing the kid.

  2. LSU has been churning out one NFL caliber receiver after another since 2005. Hell, even James Wright is seeing action with the Bengals.

So on one hand you ask how the hell does LSU even get a highly touted WR recruit to come to LSU? The numbers bear it out. If you want to get to the NFL, LSU is a great landing spot.

  3. And never caught a pass. Sort of like the inverse of USC where they have QBs drafted that never threw a pass.

  5. The series of downs that epitomizes the season and the state of affairs with this LSU offense was against Mississippi State. Inside the 5 and Les decided to run it 4 straight times. On 3rd down, his patented power run to the left was stuffed and the broadcast put the camera on Miles and his smug look of shock told the story. He dared MSU to stop him on 4th down and of course they did.

  6. Well fuck, when Jennings points the run direction to the fullback, who then points the direction of the run to the tailback, what chance is there except "I will force my will in an impossible situation"

Not only is there a redundancy in play calling, there is an arrogance that it will work even if the defense knows where it will go.
