1. I'm in agreement but just wondering: if Harris puts up a stinker we are expected to see Jennings, but if Jennings puts up a stinker we are criticized for expecting to see Harris. Again, go back and you'll see Harris has the better stats against the same competition. I don't expect Harris to tear it up in his first appearance after sitting the bench for two months, especially in this system. But he does deserve a fair and equal shot at the starting job. CLM and CCC are not playing AJ this year with the intent of sitting him next year.
  2. I don't care if he "starts" I just want the kid to get onto the field. While some here may not believe, I know what my eyes have told me. He can play football. He can play QB. We have all witnessed it.

  3. people who still care for LSU can take it.
  4. The human mind can take a lot, but miles is testing the extremes.

  5. And more importantly our eyes tell us that Jennings is not a capable SEC QB. Not even close.

  6. According to Doucet, Les was asked if Harris would play and his response was "I'm not ready to say"

By previous history I think that means Harris is once again the starter.

  7. But Les says he doesn't understand the "Nuances" of the position yet. Yeah and Anthony Jennings Jefferson most certainly does, huh Les!
  8. I hope you're right but I can't see Les naming Harris the starter without him getting any PT recently. I think Harris may see PT but only if AJ stinks it up again for a half or so and LSU is down. At this point I do not have any faith in Miles. I truly like the man and what he has done but I feel his best is behind him.

  9. Well I think he all but confirmed AJ will start when he said on his radio show that while Harris may be a more explosive style of Quarterback, the staff still feels that AJ gives the best chance to make the other 10 guys better.

I doubt Harris even sees the field. And judging from his social media it appears he knows he has to work harder on the mental side where it counts. He's being humbled and I hope it pays off because for Miles to say that he's more explosive is evidence that even he knows who the superior talent of the two is. I think it's pretty clear at this point Miles doesn't trust him to know what he's supposed to do when things are tough. And Miles relishes tough situations. The flip side of that is he probably trusts AJ to know what he's supposed to do, but doesn't have a lot of trust in him actually doing it. Hence the low number of pass attempts per game. Now he's really screwed because the O-line is banged up so he can't run the ball well enough to hide the QBs.

At this point though, why not throw caution to the wind. It's one inconsequential game. The non-marquee bowl game we will get, whether we beat TAMU or not, is essentially the start of spring practice. Whichever guy you put back there, let him play pitch and catch. These kids deserve a chance to just have some fun at this point. There's no way they have been having fun. If that means a glorified game of 7 on 7, so be it. Come back with your shield or on it. But put up a fight. Geez!
  10. Even more so the human liver. Thank God that thing (liver) regenerates over time. God made off season for a reason right?
