Golden Band to the rescue. I heard it was David Duval seeking revenge. Only fitting that the band saved the day !

i figured it was some aubarn turd getting revenge... note to the aubs... you do it on gameday!

Also, I hear asbestos is all over the dorms. My suggestion is that we could have the greatest gameday condos in college sports if someone had the mindset to do it. Can you imagine how much those would go for with French Quarter style balconies overlooking the band coming down the hill?

The stadium appears undamaged this morning and work is going on as usual. It apparently was just a wooden office on the ground floor near the South end zone Gate 3 area. It sure put up a Pearl Harbor-plume of black smoke for such a small fire.

Speaking of work, there are still cherrypickers up working on the glass wall, which seems to be covered by a large metal grill, scaffolding all the way up, the parking lot is unfinished and fences are still up.

but... think of this thread and why it was started......

Would we really want to risk having people live in those, even if only for game days? People can be pretty stupid in general so accidents are likely to happen. Think of the chances for fires and such.

I hear they arrested some kids for starting the fire. They're probably still mad about Saban leaving, Flynn not getting enough PT, Smoke getting fired, etc.

    It was a gymnasium.

If it was Ramah, we can only hope that it was a suicide mission.

Investigators from LSU Police, BRFD, and ATF conducted a follow up investigation regarding the fire. As a result of information provided by a witness minutes after the fire and the assistance of BRPD, investigators located several juveniles who were allegedly inside Tiger Stadium when the fire occurred.

Interviews with the juveniles and their parents resulted in the arrest of three Juveniles for Trespassing and one Juvenile for Simple Arson. The Juveniles ranged in age from 9 to 14 years old. Officers anticipate one additional arrest of a Juvenile related to the Trespassing charge in Tiger Stadium.

These punks need to be shown the errors of their ways. I say feed 'em to Mike or the defensive linemen!1:po: :nope:
