    It's no surprise that Fowler has contacted Billingsley. Unfortunately, it's also no surprise that James hasn't.

    I doubt that either Herbstriet or Corso know who Billingsley is. It would detract from their image if they made an attempt to become more knowledgeable. :angryfire

    I can somewhat accept Corso, because I think he truly believes what he says. He may sound like an idiot (and act like one which is really annoying since it really is an act), but Herbstreit says everything based on an agenda. Whatever purpose he is trying to serve, that's what you get from him. He is a total joke.

    Fowler is the only one who ever gives prop to the SEC and understand what real football is. The other 2 goons NEED TO GO! Flutie isn't so bad...he's ok. Kirby is just promoting what ABC/ESPN wants him to and on top of that, he's a Big 10/Pac 10 guy - damn ass kisser.:dis:
    Too bad ESPN has a monopoly on sports news and highlights.:cuss:

    Why do you think ND remains an independent? The BCS is pretty much based around ND to make sure they get in. If ND has 2-3 losses every year, they will get in. Hell they only play 2-3 good teams a year. If they join a conf., they won't be able to schedule all the cream puffs anymore(armed forces).

    Herb and Corso are idiots. Most have known this for quite sometime. During the USC/ND Game Herb thought that they couldn't review a football spot, impacting a potential first down. And he's a football analyst? Please. He named Jarett? as the best WR in the country. He's stupid and a flake. I get the impression that Fowler is somewhat amused/embarrassed by the two dunces that sit next to him.

    IMO, MIchigan/LSU (Big 10/SEC) has more national appeal that joke of a rematch. I would not bother to watch Michigan/ND again. Not out of bitterness, just cause i have no interest. There's no questions/mysteries left in that tilt. I'm not a marketing wizard, i just think that a lot of people would like to see UM/LSU, to have as much info as possible at season end.
