Only thing I heard about them cutting was big bird, and Medicare, until old people got pissed then Paul Ryan started blaming Obama for wanting to cut Medicare. Nothing about cutting defense, which should be ginsu'd.
I post surpluses like Bill Clinton. I do my own taxes. It's the only way to understand your own 1040. I only use the CPA for advice on complex taxes or responses to IRS inquiries. I don't have a lot of loopholes because I have no debts, no dependents, no offshore accounts and I take the standard deduction. Definitely overpaid. I'm a rehired retiree pulling a salary and a pension with four other income streams that I don't even use right now, all reinvested. Probably underworked, since I now have a part-time appointment and work 2 days a week with an assignment to do whatever the hell I want to do. I am so fucking valuable that they wouldn't just let me retire and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. And I make very good use of the free time I have. I have attained Maximum Slack. Life is good.
