I have not gotten my tickets yet, however got the email yesterday saying my order has been fulfilled (I purchased mine online about 3 weeks ago) I read somewhere were people got their tickets.
Got mine....... they came in the mail today, but I bought general seating from the Cotton Bowl, not through LSU. I will be on the LSU side, but in the upper deck.
I found out today that my seats will be in Section 14. That is the last section I think until it becomes Longhorn Terrirtory. Maybe I can get a seat at the edge I find out my exact seats on Thursday.
Got Mine Monday Gate 3 Section 8 Row 57 SEATS 26,27 on the LSU fighting Tiger Side looks like the same type seat i had for the SECCG about the 10 to 15 yard line and I requested to be under the over hang so if its raining i want get wet maybe. But we will see when I get there.
Texas Allotment They don't stop taking requests until Thursday. This is basically a measure to ensure that all of the high dollar donors get their chance to order tickets in their own sweet time. They then decide if they have enough tickets left over for the poor peons like me. It really kind of sucks, because they take your order but don't let you know if you've got tickets until about a week and a half later. For really big games, it can be a pain, because while you wait to hear from the University, you could be trying to procure tickets from other sources. I decided to forgo the hassle and ordered mine through the Cotton Bowl. Got them in two days and they are 50 yrd line seats. I suspect that Texas will not sell out all of its allotment and will make the extras available to the general public. (Tiger fans) Hook 'em
