Gonna have to agree with you. I'll even eat some crow for my Pelini bashing earlier in the year. Everything the analysts have said about Pelini and our defense has come true: That it takes time to learn a new system.

Congrats Tigers! and more importantly, congrats to coach Pelini and the defense.

I take back everything I said about Pellini after (and during) the ASU game.

If this is the real Bo Pellini, then, I've got to say it:

    . . . I'm giddy . . . : )

maybe Pelini was right all along and "we" ( fans ) just don't know diddley about Football and the players needed time to adjust. hey if it ain't broke.......... so the old saying goes. I'm giving the man the benifit of the doubt from here on out. :eek:ldskule:

Well I do know football, and we were not "missing anything." This is not the same scheme at all as we played at ASU and against UT.

However, Pelini has swallowed his pride and let these guys play the kind of defense they were made for, and that is what good coaches do. They adjust to the talent. For that he deserves a :thumb:

Umm I agree, I was just trying to "not look a gift horse in the mouth" so to speak.

Ch0sn0ne (PS: I just figured out what ur name means while typing this)

Or maybe it could be that the players hadn't learned the schemes yet & he was forced to play schemes that minimized blown coverage... We can debate how well it worked or not, but don't assume Pellini changed his schemes because of fan pressure - I doubt that was the case.

Just to clarify, I no longer plan on kicking Pelini in the chins if I see him out in public.

    Miles and Jimbo, different story.
