Dinardo left Saban with no talent?

    I'm certain they were his recruits to develop as well, but he didn't IMO. Last year we had good potential for WRs, but no playmakers or even really good ones. We had a struggling freshman QB. We had corners behind the guys that left without experience & not completely developed. These are the guys I'm talking about - the ones Saban failed to develop last year.

    We also had corners in front of some guys on a few key plays last year.:hihi:

    No one seems to remember that we were around 20-25 players short of the maximum allowed when Dumbnardo left because of players flunking out and a large # of his players being ineligible and never stepping on campus. Dinardo left Saban with some high quality players but nothing like the quality and depth we have today. Saban complained often about the lack of depth and his inability to substitute during his first couple of years. Yes Saban inherited a program with some talent but nothing like the talent he left Miles. Saban also inherited a program in shambles and headed in the wrong direction fast. It's time to move on past the who inherited what posts but let's all come to grip first with the reality that the two coaches inherited something entirely different.
