1. No they have to ask formally and then Congress has to act.
  2. Why dont you move in with Rex you are as void of common sense as he is. You make no sense at all. How can you help people right away when it takes a while to access the damage then you can't fly airplanes in because the airport is damaged and the radar to get them in is out along with a vast majority of resources tied up in Texas and Louisiana. You dont just mosey over to PR its 100 times more complicated to help them quickly than responding to domestic disasters. Yes you socialist asshole America first. PR is NOT a state and yes we will help as always. It's you and that buffoon Rex who are doing your best to politicize these disasters which is disgusting. Hate filled for fellow citizens? I mentioned Mexico's disaster havent heard you mention Mexico's disaster, what DO YOU HATE THE MEXICAN PEOPLE?. You try to pose here as a middle of the road guy but you dont fool me. You are a closet liberal and a good one at that.

PS; Katrina was Nagin and Blanco's fault but I am sure you like Rex and all good leftist blamed Bush for the whole thing. Hell the left blamed it on Bush because he didnt go along with THE GREAT FRAUD OF MAN MADE GLOBAL WARMING.
  3. LOL.

That's from the clown who can't help himself from writing Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi, .....
  4. What about the clown who keeps writing Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump
  5. Dont give clowns a bad name they at least have a brain stem and bring some joy to people Rex is just the opposite.
  6. I have NEVER denied politicizing disasters. Disasters SHOULD be politicized and the people in charge should be held accountable if they're at fault. What I am not is a hypocrite about it as Kikicaca clearly is. And what I am is somebody who assesses things properly, who looks at the results of investigations, which Kikicaca clearly does neither.

And, by the way, thanks for tacitly admitting that the Trump administration has been an endless disaster.
  7. I am quite certain there are plenty of people on the mainland who are totally dependent on government aid/welfare and also do not pay taxes. When disaster hits we don't deny them help or ask for their tax returns.
Trump waived the Jones Act this morning and that will help. There have been literally tons of supplies on the ground there since before the hurricane hit which have gone nowhere. The food items have gone bad. The biggest problem in lack of manpower, nobody to drive or deliver the items. So what we can provide immediately is manpower and logistics. People in Puerto Rico have ONE focus at the moment and that is basic survival.
  8. That is not at all what I said
  9. Side note....I have neighbors who are Puerto Rican. They moved here almost 20 years ago for the dad's job and one of their daughters is my daughter's closest friends. They have a lot of family still in PR and as of last night, they still had no word or idea if their family was still alive. I can't imagine. The stress and worry is on all their faces.

They have organized a supply donation opportunity all this week. I don't think they even know how they'll get it all there. There's a brother-in-law who is trying to charter a private plane. Crazy.
  10. I realize....just wanted to point out that it shouldn't be a factor in this type of situation. At least I don't think it should.
