  2. Chris Scelfo, other than while being at Tulane, was and is considered a great recruiter. He served on Oklahoma's staff as a Grad Coach; went to Marshall with Jim Donnan and was his OL coach and coordinator; followed Donnan to Georgia and held same position there; left GA to go to Tulane as HC; He was OL coach at all of the places and was named as one of the top FB recruiters in the country while at Georgia. Hope this helps. Have a great day!
  3. Because they got spanked badly. There is a lot of precendent for dropping them below #2.
  4. Just curious...is this something you read or do you have contacts inside the program?
  5. Most of it is stuff I read, either in an article or from someone with contacts that I think is trustworthy.
  6. I like Scelfo as the choice here. he knows La. and would be a very solid position coach. I hope Miles and him get along.
  7. It might be a blessing, from what I've heard from sources inside the coaching community, is that Searels is very over-rated.

I do not think our o-line was very consistant the last couple of years, mainly in the run-game.

I know injuries played a part in that, but its my opinion
  8. Is it your opinion or inside information?
  9. My biggest concern is with regard to recruiting, that is why I think Scelfo is a good hire, he knows the coaches and is an old school Louisiana guy, he would be a great asset to LSU as a recruiter.
  10. Its my opinion about the O-line consistany, but its inside info on Searels
