A lot of them are in town and a lot of them are not getting into the game. Even ESPN did a report today talking about how LSU fans clearly outnumber Bama fans in the city. They mention that just about every Saints fan has turned into an LSU fan. That's right. I wore my LSU shirt under my Saints shirt on Saturday, bra. The stadium will be 60/40 or closer 50/50 or so, I'm sure. But walking around the city, different story. If Bama loses, expect to hear a lot of stories about how they were mistreated by us locals. I call BS on it already, but they will say it due to being grossly outnumbered city-wide, something those gumps have never experienced here.. :crystal::crystal::crystal:
I think it'll be at least 60/40, personally. Many more Tigers fans showed up yesterday, and we outnumbered them greatly. Some of them are running their mouths; I was hearing a ton of "Roll Tides." It's making me sick really. I have no doubt that the Superdome is going to be bumping when the 'Bama offense is on the field. I do expect to hear plenty of excuses if they lose though. Our time is here, Geaux Tigers! :geaux: And for the record, these 'Bama fans are some of the worst dancers I have EVER seen. Dudes are in the bars here making complete fools of themselves.
Bama travels well and it is well within driving distance, so I would expect many of them to be there. Add in the fact that it's a big SEC rivalry game and you got extra motivation to come. There were a ton of Ohio State fans 4 years ago too. But like someone said, it's all about who's louder. For as few people (compared to the rest) that we had in Bryant-Denny, we always made our presence known. To me the disturbing trend on Stubhub is how ridiculous these tickets cost...
No surprise there. These people that come to town can't do much of anything where they come from, lest they end up in jail. This is why tourists make complete jackasses of themselves when they come here. Hey, I'm all for them coming and having a good time, but please do it our way. Have fun, don't **** with anybody; otherwise, it's a baton to your face from NOPD and a free ride to OPP!
WSJ said today that the average ticket for the game on the open market was just under $1800. Will be interesting to see what the price is outside the Dome tonight.
The pictures I have seen today from Champions Square look like a good Tiger majority. At least 3/5 P&G if not 3/4.
I just saw this on the LSU Facebook page We should be fine...our fans are still coming in flocks. This is New Orleans...not about to let it get run over by some Bama fans.
